2 medical teams serve Dagupenos

THE TWIN medical missions conducted recently by two independent teams from Manila benefited at least 2,137 indigent residents in all 31 villages in

Dagupan City.

 

Authorities from the Mercury Group of Companies and the Chines General Hospital (CGH) sent their respective medical teams in performing for free, various health services for the Dagupenos.

 

The CGH team alone served at least 1,117 indigent residents in

Dagupan City.

 

The group, which was organized by authorities of the Chinese General Hospital (CGH) performed medical, pediatric, dental, opthalmologic and optometric consultation services to the villagers from all 31 barangays in the city.

 

The Rotary Club of Uptown Dagupan and the Chinese Charitable Institution in close coordination with Various offices of the city government, supported the conduct of the medical mission.

 

The CGH team included at least 35 medical experts who rendered the health services to Dagupenos.

 

Early this month, the Operation Bigay Lunas 2008 was also launched by the Mercury Group of Companies for the benefit of Dagupenos.

 

Medical experts from the Region I Medical Center and the Pangasinan Medical Society supported the medical mission conducted by the Operation Bigay Lunas 2008.

 

The twin medical mission teams which served particularly the poor residents of

Dagupan City took place through the initiative of Mayor Alipio Fernandez, Jr.
